About Vibemate

About Vibemate

Vibemate started with a simple observation: people in their 20s are not looking for just one type of connection, but every app forces them to pick one.

Want to find a date? Use Tinder. Want to find friends? Use Meetup. Want a gym partner? Ask in a Reddit thread and hope for the best.

We built Vibemate because the fragmentation is exhausting and unnecessary. Dating, friendship, and activity partnerships are not separate parts of your life. They are all part of how you build a social world in a new city.

What we believe

Real connections happen between real people with real intentions. The biggest problem with most discovery apps is not the algorithm. It is the lack of honesty about what people are actually there for.

Vibemate gives users three clear intent modes: dating, friends, and activity partners. When you know what someone is looking for, the conversation starts from a place of honesty instead of assumption.

Our commitment to safety

We are building Vibemate with women-first safety design. That means women control who can see their profile and who can message them first, across all three intent modes. No unsolicited contact. Real profile verification to reduce fake accounts. Moderation that takes reports seriously.

Safety is not a feature we added at the end. It is how the app is structured.
